Glencoe Lochan
A must visit for your travels up here is Glencoe Lochan. Going past the village of Glencoe you’ll find yourself at the sign-posted walk for the Lochan, where there is a designated carpark and a choice of three short trails. The woodlands were planted in 1890 by Lord Strathcona in hopes of comforting his homesick Canadian wife. You’ll find yourself immersed in woodland, with an abundance of local wildlife and magical views of the Pap. We often come here for a breath of fresh air and the trails are extremely popular with our guests.
